Workstreams
Are you a current or former Microsoft worker thinking of joining No Azure for Apartheid but are not sure how to contribute?
No Azure for Apartheid is not only conference disruptions and public protests. Most of our members take on many different organizing tasks with varying levels of anonymity.
There is a lot of essential organizing work that, while not as exciting as throwing a Kuffiyeh at Mustafa Suleyman, is just as important. Explore some of our workstreams below to see how you can contribute to the success of the No Azure for Apartheid campaign!

Research
Maintaining the Microsoft Company Complicity Profile
No Azure for Apartheid’s Microsoft Company Complicity Profile can be found at noaa.cc/why. It is intended to be a 1-stop-shop for all the major Microsoft complicity points in the genocide, occupation, and apartheid of Palestine.
Research on Microsoft Complicity
We regularly conduct research on public resources to expose Microsoft complicity. Outcomes of our research include our first whitepaper, A Marriage Made in Hell, as well as Microsoft-Powered Starvation of Gaza and Microsoft Powers ICE.
Base Building
As a grassroots movement, building our base is essential to growing our campaign. This includes talking to workers 1-1, tabling or flyering, hosting worker Town Halls, etc.
Boycotts and BDS
No Azure for Apartheid encourages boycotts of Microsoft and BDS. This workstream involves developing and maintaining Microsoft boycott strategies.
Alternative Employment Network
For workers who want to look for alternative employment options that are more ethical than a digital arms manufacturer like Microsoft, we share principled job postings and exchange ideas on where to apply.
The People’s Give
The People’s Give is a Microsoft worker and community led fundraising initiative featuring a diverse mix of virtual and local events to raise urgently needed funds for The Sameer Project, a Palestinian-led mutual aid network that provides direct on-the-ground relief in Gaza. Since The Sameer Project is not a 501c3 and cannot be matched by corporations, as No Azure for Apartheid, we commit to matching portions of community contributions raised during the People’s Give events. Website Maintenance
This workstream involves maintaining No Azure for Apartheid’s website, noazureforapartheid.com.
